I have been teaching reading at Saturday School for the past three weeks. I have one week left and will be happy when it is over! The goal is to improve reading and math skills for students who scored low on our state test last year... I'm not sure 4 days of learning is going to do a whole lot - but if they answer one more question right because of this it may make a difference between passing and failing.
I am on the pink team so I thought I'd share a few pictures of my kids. We work on test-taking skills for a portion of the 90-minute block, then reading skills, and we finish by writing for a Super Saturday School blog. Next week we will post our blog entries!
