- 9 days until our wedding!
- The extended forecast on weather.com shows a 30% chance of scattered thunderstorms on our wedding day. I am not stressing about it but will keep an eye on local forecasts as we get closer. At this point we do not have a back-up plan for the ceremony... umbrellas for everyone perhaps? :)
- I found an AMAZING internet tool a couple days ago that I want to share: www.readability.com. You can select how would you like to read articles online and then save your settings on your tabs (if you use Mozilla Firefox). When you find something you'd like to read - say an article on the NY Times - you select the "Readability" button and it converts the text to your saved settings, removing all the other junk in the process. It will also remove all hyperlinks and add them to a footnote page so that you aren't distracted by other junk as you read (like me!).
- The chicken coop is in the works and should be finished before we go on our honeymoon. This should make life easier for dear Owen (Tyler's former student and his cousin Katie's boyfriend) who is house sitting for us while we are gone.
- Our wedding To-Do list is getting shorter by the minute! We have 130 guests for the wedding right now and have just about everything ready. We are really looking forward to 1. seeing my family and showing them our town, 2. having fun celebrating with everyone on the BIG day, and 3. going to Montana for our honeymoon! So many things to look forward to in the next few weeks - we feel so lucky!
- I am thinking of naming some of my chickens - at least the ones I know are female, like the one above. Anyone have a suggestion?
That hen sort of reminds me of Cruella DeVille from 101 Dalmations................
ReplyDeleteI would call my chicken Omelet Machine. No?
