Great news! Tyler and I were both just accepted to the National Endowment for the Humanities Landmarks of American History and Culture Workshop, Duke Ellington and the Development of American Popular Culture at Fairfield University in Connecticut. Part of the course will take place at the university, and part will take place at various jazz clubs in New York City. Fun! Our last day of school is June 22; we have planned a mini-trip from 6/23-6/26 through Vermont and down towards Connecticut. Our course will begin on the 26th. I can't explain how excited I am for this last summer course before baby comes!
