Tyler and I are swamped in CUTE baby stuff (and it's just the beginning)! Yesterday my girlfriend Rebecca sent up a box of clothes that her baby girl Camille has outgrown already. I spent a while oohh-ing and ahhh-ing at everything before putting the clothes in the guest room. Who'd a thought that today I'd get more!
Today we got a special delivery from the post office. First was a box from Susie filled with surprises! She sent over the Winnie the Pooh that was given to Tyler when he was born, as well as another bear from Tyler's Aunt Susan and a blanket that his Aunt Joan made him when he was a babe. (Well, he is still a babe!) Also included were a couple adorable pictures of Tyler and Matty as well as a special surprise for me!

Beautiful Pandora bracelet for me - complete with a baby carriage charm!
The next box was from my sister. It's the first of two deliveries of baby clothes from little Miss Emma. Katie packed up everything from 0-9 months to send up here for Baby A! This box also included some fun surprises: a scarf for me, and a couple of brand new outfits for Baby including this extra-special personalized one:

Thanks Katie and Emma!

I cannot deny that she IS the best!
Finally, UPS showed up with yet another delivery from Katie! This time it was a box of goodies from the baby registry! Holy Moly! Where to put all of this stuff???

All kinds of goodies!
Today Tyler is painting the nursery Robin's Nest Blue. It looks so amazing! (This picture doesn't really do the color justice.) I can't wait to see what it looks like when the blue is done and the white trim is added. Yay! (And Tyler is becoming a painting expert... which is great since we want to eventually paint the rest of the house.)

Tonight we have a dinner reservation at the Willough Vale Inn to celebrate our anniversary. We are both looking forward to checking out the restaurant and getting out of the house!
Hope you know that story that our family (on both sides, i.e. Mom and Ellie & Jake) worked at the Willoughvale when it was in its hey-day.....
ReplyDeleteAimee, how nice to pass the time, opening up packages, and going through baby clothes, before the baby comes and takes all your time! I am glad that you and Tyler got to get out of the house and celebrate your anniversary at the Willovale! Glad you are feeling better!!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun receiving all of those baby gifts! Enjoy it all!
ReplyDeleteLoved how Susie is sending things that were gifts to Tyler when he was born! That is so neat!
Tyler is so handy! He can build chicken coops AND paint baby's room!
Aunt Lisa
Wow! Looks like you're already well stocked for clothes. Sure helps to have friends and relatives with girls. Sorry our stuff is ancient and I only kept a few special outfits or we'd send them your way. You'll love the bracelet. I got one started for Katie for graduation. You hit the jackpot when it comes to your mother-in-law!!! What a sweetie she is.
