Dartmouth Again!

So here's the deal: they have stopped labor (for now) and want to keep baby in for another 2 weeks. At 34 weeks the infection rate from water breaking is equal to the risk of having pre-term baby. (At this point having a pre-term baby is a larger risk than infection.) At 34 weeks if I haven't had the baby yet then they will induce me. One nurse said that most women will deliver within 10 days after having their water break. Who'd a thought your water could be "broken" for 2 weeks without having a baby!

Anyway, we are doing okay... thanks for your thoughts and prayers! Matt and Tyler are here and Kate will be here shortly - so plenty of entertainment!

  1. Wow,
Katie and I were doing all kinds of research online regarding 32 weeks gestation. So psyched that you are still pregnant and haven't delivered yet. We are thinking of everyone down there and Aimee and baby "A" most of all!!
    Love and prayers,
    Jeanne & Katie

  2. Aimee, keep entertainig yourself with books and movies. Hoping all continues to go well while keeping her in there a little longer. Though, I look forward to hearing about the arrival of Baby "A".
