Meeting Opa for the first time!
My Dad arrived safely Friday afternoon from Florida and Caroline was immediately smitten. After some playtime, Dad and I were catching up while Caroline jabbered on and on and on... for 3 hours! She's become quite the talker! Some new words are: mamama and dadada and my favorite, nein-nein-nein! She's also rolling over and has started sleeping on her side. We've tried all kinds of new foods but her favorite is still plain old breastmilk. I've finally stopped pumping after 8 months and 11 days but we have about 2 months worth of milk still in the freezer. I was sad for a day or so about stopping but now all I feel is FREEDOM! :)

Tyler will arrive in DC about 10:30 tonight after an 11 hour rain ride with his AP students. I'm looking forward to hearing about their adventures.

    I can't believe that she is already saying words! How wonderful!! Your Dad looks soo happy and proud to hold his granddaughter! How special for you to have him visit!!     What great pictures. I didn't realize your dad hadn't been up yet to meet Caroline. I hope you guys have a great visit while he is here. Congratulations on the two blogs you are writing for. I had read NEK MOMS before but I will visit that site more often now that I know you are writing for it. I wore my hair back a lot after my kids discovered that "Mommy has hair"!
